What depth should black ice chippings be laid at on a path?
Black ice chippings at 20mm want around 40mm of depth on a path, which is roughly twice the stone size and the point at which feet skim across rather than sinking in. Laid much deeper than that, the extra material adds cost without adding coverage.
Is 10mm panda gravel available, alongside the 20mm size?
Panda gravel is sold at 20mm as the standard grade, but Outdoor Aggregates don't stock the finer 10mm size.
